Thai bodywork is sometimes referred to as~ ”Lazy (Wo)Man’s Yoga” – There is No effort required. Sessions happen on a cushioned mat on the floor and the recipient remains clothed. This is a fluid dance, where the practitioner uses her whole body to move and massage the client. Gentle pressure and compression are used to stimulate internal organs, relax tense muscles and calm the nervous system. Passive stretching & Rhythmic rocking adjusts the skeletal structure, increases flexibility and restores movement. Benefits also include: improved circulation, relief from pain, increased energy and deep inner peace.
Lori trained in Thai bodywork at Shiva Shakti school of Massage and Yoga in 2011 as well as the Lotus Palm School in Montreal in 2012. She also offers specialty Pre-natal Thai Massage & Massage for Elderly. Flower has additional training in Ayurvedic & Swedish Massage in 2005.
